ProcedureAtlas Compare Medical Procedures Abroad
Source Policy

Our guides are only as good as the sources behind them.

A medical-travel directory can drift into thin aggregation quickly. ProcedureAtlas prefers verifiable, attributable source material and avoids turning marketing copy into implied fact.

Preferred Sources

Hospital and clinic documentation, licensing or accreditation materials, destination health-system guidance, and other primary documentation tied to the procedure.

Secondary Sources

Independent reporting or reference material may help with context, but it should not override treatment, safety, pricing, or credential claims without stronger support.

What We Avoid

Anonymous listicles, scraped package pages, recycled patient forums, and any source that cannot be tied to a specific operator, institution, or document trail.

What Guides Show

When verified sources exist, the guide shows freshness timestamps, extracted source evidence, and confidence information. Guides without verified medical or operator-specific sources are marked accordingly.
